Winchester Park and Ride

Unfortunately, the Winchester Park and Ride buses do not run later on this day. You can use the car parks as normal and get a bus into the city centre, but need to make your own way back to the car parks later.

Nearest Car Parks

The nearest Council car parks to the Bonfire site as quite small – the Cattle Market, St Peter’s Car Park and the Winchester Hotel Car Park on Worthy Road.

If you are planning to park and walk the route of our torchlit procession, please park in the city centre multi-story car parks. Chesil Street Multi-Storey is usually the quietest, and the car park in The Brooks Shopping Centre closes at around 6.15pm.

Trains, Buses and Walking

Please try to use public transport wherever possible or walk to the event to help the local environment. Please leave more time than normal as the city centre, car parks and public transport gets incredibly busy.
