WINCHESTER'S BIGGEST CHARITY EVENT

This is for Winchester.

Bonfire & Fireworks has been run by volunteers who have given up their free time to stage the event since 1958.

All profits are donated to selected charities in the city and district.

When you buy a ticket, you’re supporting amazing good causes.

Winchester Round Table is a charity and social group for men aged 18-45 in the city. We’re part of the international Round Table movement where members can participate actively in their community.

As well as Bonfire & Fireworks, we stage the annual summer Pedal Paddle Pace triathlon and the famous Santa Sleigh at Christmas.

  • Stewarding crowds in the Bonfire arena
  • Marshalling the High Street procession
  • Selling tickets, torches and merchandise
  • Helping everyone stay safe

TORCHLIT PROCESSION

ANNUAL TRADITION. FREE TO JOIN.

Buy a wax torch and walk the route before the lighting of the bonfire and the firework display.

The procession will begin from Guildhall on The Broadway, up the High Street and across Jewry Street before heading to the firework and bonfire display. You’ll also find Winchester Round Table vendors along the route with official Bonfire merchandise; your purchases go towards donating to local charities.

TRAVEL ADVICE
  • Use public transport where possible. Winchester train station is a 15-minute walk to the display site. Park & Ride services will end before the display starts.
  • Arrive early to beat the crowds and enjoy the food festival from 3pm. Ticket collection opens from 10am.
  • If you are driving, head for car parks away from city centre.
  • Only park where permitted on roads outside of city centre.

Roads will be temporarily closed around Winchester city centre and we expect heavy traffic on the night. Parking adjacent to North Walls Recreation Ground will not be available.

Use local Stagecoach bus routes to get to the display.
