TICKETS – Do I need one? / Can I buy one?
You do not need a ticket for Winchester Fireworks night.
There is no fenced area for people to gather in.
There are a limited number of 100 VIP tickets. These are priced at £35 per ticket and provide access to one of the fireworks launch sites, as well as a bar.
The location of the VIP area is within a 15min walk of Winchester city centre and will be revealed 24 hours before the event to ticket holders.
LOCATION – Where do I go to watch the fireworks?
You can watch them from just about anywhere in the city. This is a multi-sited, professional fireworks display designed to light up the skies above Winchester.
You can remain at home and view from your garden or front door.
You can head to a favourite spot in the city to get the best view.
You can be with friends and family to make memories together.
OR you can remain indoors and watch the live feed on our Facebook page.
Coverage starts at 6:30pm.
Look to the skies at 7pm
PARADE – Is there a torch parade?
There is no formal procession this year in the city streets.
We are selling wax torches through our website www.winchesterbonfire.co.uk for £4 each or 3 for £10.
These are for you to use safely on the night knowing you are one of thousands across the city supporting the community.
Is it free? Why should I donate?
There is no cost to view the fireworks. Everyone in the city can be a part of Light Up Winchester.
We have brilliant sponsors for this year’s fireworks night to help make it possible:
Dutton Gregory, Godwins, LCP, Belgarum, Act Property, Studio Four Architects, Winchester BID as well as the efforts of our Tablers.
The event is run not-for-profit. All the donations you make go directly to local causes and charities such as:
Winchester Street Reach, Winchester Young Carers, Otterbourne School, Winchester Radio, Winchester Penguins Swimming, Winchester Basics Bank, Winchester Night Shelter, Trinity Winchester and more.
Use our Just Giving page to donate
Thank you, see you at 7pm on 6th November

Winchester Round Table is the group of guys in the city aged 18-45. We’re a social group who meet up to make friends and make a difference.
We do this through organising events such as the Winchester Charity Bonfire and Fireworks, running the Winchester Santa Sleigh, our GiveShareFeed Food Bank Drive, and supporting the community through our Community Services Fund.
We also undertake charity work where we support great causes with manpower and skills, for example lending a hand renovating spaces, at charity events and helping individuals in need.
If you’re a guy aged 18-45 locally who wants to help the local community, you are more than welcome to join us and see if its for you.
